Back~

Right, so, Why not just get right into it. Been gone for quite a while, life sure likes to bend you over and pull on your hair as it fucks you quite a couple times. Fortunately! Things are actually starting to look pretty neat now. I'll spare the details but I won't spare you the dilemma of reading through what I've currently been up to.

I've been on Starcraft II for..2 months I want to say. Mind you I've had this game for quite the time. September I believe, but I never really decided to pay it much mind, I was an "okay" Brood War player locally back in middle school but I never really though much about it. I have a friend who back then started telling me of a couple of interests of his, which consisted of him taking Starcraft II extremely seriously, IT all sounded like fluent horse shit to me at first, So I ended up dismissing half of what he would end up telling me.

Boy was I fucking wrong.

It took me a while, but initially I began to play the game from a new perspective, Hard to see maybe? I guess, As I said, I never saw much out of Brood War or the original Starcraft past a time killer, it just never clicked to me that deeply, It wasn't because of the graphics, or the fact that I was running on a 6GB HDD PC up until 2006, I just couldn't really feel so into it. Lately I've been struck with II's addiction, I don't play that often yet, Most of my time is spent playing 2v2 matches with the same friend who introduced me to it's e-sport scene. Or custom maps. However if anyone still checks periodically after my ludicrous timed absence, feel free to notify me if you'd like to end up playing. I'd rather not discuss my Battle.net address openly for fear of a "shadow" lurking around here, but that's beside the point.

Just tossing this in here because someone messaged me asking, Yes, I am also back to regularly streaming at http://justin.tv/tripleb60 as Seisoku. I am currently using SD capture quality devices. But will be upgrading to a Blackmagic Intensity Pro(Console streaming) as well as a nvidia GTX460 in the coming month. I am currently doing my second playthrough of Magnacarta 2 there, so check it out, It's one of my favorite games.

I decided to upgrade to a bit of gaming gear since I've drifted away from my Xbox360 and PS3 onto my PC since December.

Currently owning/using:

Razer Naga Molten Edition, It's a high grade Gaming mouse, additionally, it has 12 buttons on the thumb(Right handed) Area for quick pressing hotkeys or setting up macros to each one individually. Amazing for MMORPGs, but the DPi of 5600 is what attracted me to this, This mostly goes into Starcraft II, but since my eternal love for MMORPGs takes me places, This will definitely prove useful.

Das Professional S Keyboard: A mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Blue Switches, it's pretty loud click wise, but I like that, This is pretty decent for someone who needs to react fast to button presses. Nerd mode: Your regular average keyboard houses a wide Rubber front right on the frame, which is why your keys feel kinda "gummy" when pushed down, A mechanical keyboard has a switch on every single key, which generally allows you to register the key press almost halfway through the press, Where-as you originally have to press the key all thr way down for it to register. And for those who care, the option to register up to all keys of the keyboard at once is an option, on a rubber frame keyboard, Up to ~6 buttons can be registered simultaneously If I recall correctly. Either way, This keyboard is fucking sexy to me.

I haven't chosen a Headset yet, mainly because I lack the money for the one I actually want, The Astro A-40 Wireless, it's nearing 350$ with all of the addins I want to include, which is mostly just buying the addin to make this triple up to PC PS3 and 360. There's also a couple of Senheisser(sp? fuck you.) That looks extremely good, If any suggestions, feel free to discuss, I never really know much on this particular thing.

Now I know what probably two of you are saying, what the fuck nerdness. And no photos/videos of this to prove your point?

It's almost 7 AM and I've been running on 1-2 hours of sleep for the past 4 days, shut up, go kill yourself, I'll upload those later, twats.

For those who did ask:
Race: Zerg
Ladder standing: Upper Bronze, Not too impressive.
Campaign?: Yus. Jim Raynor for President imo.
Favorite Starcraft II team: Team IM(Incredible Miracle) and ROOT.
Favorite Player/s: IMLosira(Zerg), IMMvP(Terran), ST_July(Zerg), ROOTDestiny(Zerg)
Favorite GSL(Korean Tournament) moment: IMLosira's all-kill(won all best of matches by himself, defeating the other team single handedly.)
Favorite Commentators: Day[9], Artosis and Tasteless(Tastetosis)
Favorite Starcraft 2 Moment: 2v2 with Sylvex. I ran over 40 banelings into enemy base, playing cat and mouse with his probes and my banelings, Mothership added to fray, fun times.

~

Memories~ I miss FFXI, the way I had it before I left due to life's assfuck.
Where Kayaa would shout her artificial Sound effect for Drakesbane, And Amro would stalk me in whitegate spraying his jerks and jizms all over the fucking city as he looked for me, most of the time shirtless.

I still have the Hostel Screenshots~ Good times, fuckers <3

I now crave Macaroni and Cheese, off I go~

MMORPGz~

Okay so after deciding that FFXI was in it's huge waterslide-esque downfall, I hopped over to Aion: Tower of Eternity until the Ps3 release of Final Fantasy XIV is near. Mind you upgrading my CPU and GFX up to ~my~ standards to run the game is nearly 600$, so I'll pass for now.

Anywho, back to my new game. I've actually had this since It's debut release date, However due to how complicated the game began, and how ridiculous the grind-fest can be, I put it down for a while. Fortunately the Developers have made the game a bit accessible, You still might grind, however it doesn't feel so punishing, at least not to me. Events are plenty, and they're actually pretty fun, I'm taking it slow, and playing on the Elyos faction this time around(Asmodian before) And I have to say I'm enjoying it quite more.

This is me as of last night, with a brand new set of armor and weapon. I actually spent almost an hour building his face, One of the things about Aion is it's depth of detail. In my mind I wanted to create an Elyos that looked like he should of been Asmodian, Antagonist maybe? I guess a dash o Anti-Hero couldn't hurt, However as I finished I realized he looks a lot like Caim from the Drakengard series, and I. Was. Pleased.

I'm really fascinated by the land, It has a very distinct and unique feel for me, Even as I played both factions now. There is a Visions Update coming to this game, which overhauls the graphics and makes it look like nothing seen in the game currently, Very excited for that.

As for now, I'm a Gladiator, Level 18, And rising, Super excited to get to 25 and Unlock Abyss where I'll gladly partake in Fortress Captures after 35 and up. Shouldn't be too far off, But I'm hoping I can get the best out of this game, keeping me occupied until March.

Jacinda, I swear I saw you right in front of me in this photo, however when I turned around, you disappeared, my mind, It is tricking me! :o

A change in blogging's direction.

Due to the insane disappointment at FFXI's latest horrendous(In my opinion) and well, just plain uninteresting update, This blog will now incorporate AION: The Tower of Eternity as my Focus-to MMORPG for the moment.
