Mmhmm~

Yes, I like BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Chibi, fuck. D:

Today feels rather off for me again, and regardless of me hoping it clears up as soon as possible, I honestly do not know at this point. Just remember~ Communication is what? K-E-Y~

I leave you with this, I love this track:

Hostel

Saturday was a bit of an uneventful day, I spent most of my day in bed with music on, and a book nearby. I kept XI logged in to keep an eye out for any sort of events but nothing really came up for 90% of the time. Not to mention I was in a rather crummy mood due to an off-set start in the morning. Any-who, the day went on, AFK in Whitegate while I caught up on the latest Dragon Age: Origins book, The Calling. Surprisingly good, As was the Stolen Throne, but I'll still keep Throne into the top 1, It was very interesting reading that one before the game.

Time went past and I was still feeling pretty crappy, It was roughly 4-6PM EST(My time zone) And I went away to try and eat something, no work, even water made me somehow gag, I left it for now and return 5 minutes later, Kazamaki and Kayaa are sitting on my FFXI character. Amused I ask what they were up to, and we stood there chatting debating what the three of us would do considering neither of them were sleepy yet, and my evening was clear of any events, Kayaa amused herself with this for about 10 minutes or so:

We jumped from ENMs to Farming, And finally settled on Hostel. You know, that little party area that no-one has used ever since Aht Urgahn released? Yeah well we went in, And we spent a good 5 minutes trying to figure out the password Kayaa would refuse to give to us. She teased Kazamaki and sent the password via /tell to me, so It took him a little extra longer. We settled in and started to mess around with the party favors, Reminded me when all of these first came out, and how much I always liked the Jeuno Holiday music.

A little into it, we started to feel very relaxed, including me, extremely tense, head in the clouds and feeling pretty down, we stumbled into the Rice Cakes and Mochi:

In some alternate world, that screenshot makes sense.

We continued to joke about, talking about how Kayaa shouldn't be allowed kids even though she teaches, which made me imagine her being my grade school teacher, and I lost it laughing~ Kaza and I got into a Mithra slap fight, and he apologized with a hug, we even lined up!

After a while of mindless running about, they both were getting sleepy, so we sat around until the time almost ran out:

I had a good time, and it really helped me clear my head and think a bit more rationally, the mood persisted, but at least I had a good laugh and a good time for that hour.

Thanks Kayaamaki. <3

RPG clichés

This is such a touchy subject for so many fucking people. I can still remember my first, that being Chrono Trigger way back in the day. I've been addicted to them ever since, in a sickening-ly(Wow) fashion. I've seen it all from the time Final Fantasy VII was crowned "Perhaps the best RPG ever made." Or whatever that line on the front box said. Anyway, I was reading up a few boards the other day, trying to see what people like to staple as an RPG cliché, mind you I live in america, so if you are living in per se Japan or something, the ideas of this rant are probably conflicting, HOWEVER! I am on your side. J-RPGs have always been a steady-set means of entertainment, Now you can call me a Japanophile, Most people do, I don't give a fuck.

I've compiled a lost of the things I see most people seem to dislike.

-Protagonist suffers from Amnesia
-Protagonist has some sort of hidden-unaware-of-power
-Loli-con type of character in the game
-The antagonists' goal is to destroy the world
-There's always the stupid kid or two in your party who run off without measuring a consequence.
-Zippers and belts on character designing(Applies mostly to Nomura designs)
-Lip sync out of place
-Extremely sensitive and or Emotional protagonist, Emo in your words.
-Aeris Dies
-Antagonist owns an evil empire, a la Star wars mode.

Now don't get me wrong, I love originality, However these type of issues aren't really something that should allow you to ruin your experience in a game.

If the antagonist isn't going after the world, what more could he want? Will he poison your water supplies? burn your crops and tune every Television network to watch an endless marathon of The View?

I suppose it leaves a lot of room for creativity, But I grow tired of having friends and dick heads alike try to ruin a game just because it doesn't match up to the standards nowadays.

I'll continue to enjoy J-RPGs, Enjoy the High pitched 8 year old who for some reason can wield a gun like a Seasoned SWAT Team veteran. Or the helpless female lead who goes in a magical quest to find determination in her life so she can rule her kingdom, And for as long as it takes, I'll enjoy the antagonist destroying the world over him/her spitting on my burgers from Wendy's.

"No, I am not obsessed with belts and zippers. But something needs to hold clothes together. What? Stitching? Get the fuck out of here." Tetsuya Nomura~

It's so Purdy.

I get a lot of compliments from my own desktop wallpapers. And since a few friends have asked me just what is the deal with all of the awesome CG or Rendered desktops of FFXIII well, I rather just show you just how great they are, but before I do that, let's make something very clear, Do I care just how much you royally hate FFXIII? the most linear RPG ever made? Do I want to hear how much you hate Hope? Snow? Sazh's awesome frocobo? Bla Bla Bla? Let's see that lovely little answer to all of these questions:

Seriously, Shut the fuck up about how much you dislike FFXIII, I've heard 4 months of Gamefaqs Message Boards' worth of it. Anyway, here are some of the few that I use, You should be able to open these and enlarge for their original sizing to those wishing to use them, I take no credit for these.

Anyway I added a few non-Final Fantasy XIII ones since I dubbed them a few favorites. The few others I had planned to post need a bit of work on resize, and seeing as how I'm writing this at 3 AM, I will go ahead and just leave those for another post, so! To those who asked, here you go, wallpapers, and to those who need~ Well then..here you go too.

Can I keep you?

"Can I trust in my own heart or am I just one part of one big plan."

I can't help but to press that quote on a lot that has been happening lately. Just definitely putting a lot of thought into it, but I get that sickly feeling in my stomach while doing so, no more of that.

I wish I could add music to the background of this Blog to play manually. I like to share my music with friends, so a lot of them do receive MP3s from me quite often, or I elaborate and discuss just how much each specific track is good and why, It's been one of my habits ever since Video game OSTs became my thing. I think I started with the Legend of Dragoon OST when I was 13. 50 tracks of pure awesomeness, and to this day I will bitch and moan about the cancellation, Or should I say discreet cancellation of a possible sequel/prequel. Thousands of questions later, 5438753489573849573 Online Petitions signed and SCEA Refuses to comment on Legend of Dragoon. You kind of just give up by now, But I am one persistent fucking gamer, especially when it comes to RPGs. Speaking of dragons, I was reading Kotaku earlier and it's Gamescom coverage, A few things were announced, Mass Effect 2 for PS3 was probably among the most random of them all, Resistance 3, Cole's new re-design for Infamous 2 in a classic time freeze trailer, Among the small head of news, More Cave Bullet hell shooters, which after buying and loving Deathsmiles, I can say with pride I will be trying out more CAVE ports/localizations. So now, have a trailer:

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Partly because Bioware's so fucking amazing, Yet a few things caught my attention on their latest news coverage, instead of following directly up from the first Dragon Age, they are adding this..new main character, who..if I recall just comes from some random town the Blight had burned down to the ground, I am not quite sure what that entails from the events of 1 to 2, or bridging those gaps, I just hope Teyrn-I-will-kill-your-Alistair Loghain makes somewhat of an appearance.

I cut the random chatter to bring a sudden thought. My birthday is coming up. And I figured out what I wanted, yes, me, who settles for a dinner and a movie, wants an awesome new camera to play with. I've always wanted to take a more deep interest into Photography, yet I guess I lacked enthusiasm and or funds to do so. We'll see what happens.

More me.

I will be using most of this blog to throw tantrums, rant, and discuss mostly gaming.

I am back on Final Fantasy XI once again, You can blame/thank Kitsuu and Hachirou for that. It's been..what almost if not already a month since I came back. I've piled up my to-do list quite nicely, Bard's finished, Samurai will be up next, Dancer sub job, since I was too reluctant to not skip around like a pansy yet now I feel I must have to, Sub job leveling, which isn't exactly something to be excited for but i'll get it done, Einherjar, Limbus and sea events are also something I want to look into as well. I will be using most of my Time spent in end game gearing up Dragoon, so look out for that. I believe the September update will bring forth 5-10 more levels to the cap, so it'll mean more Abyssea time, fun. Also stressing the values or lack there-of Gil-making in FFXI, so! Imagine my comment tab is a suggestion box, Insert all of your Gil-making ideas right there!

Enough of that. I'm trying to convert my FFXI-age from Xbox 360 to PC, but I will confess I am a player who is heavily reliant on a controller, and without it I function like I did when I first began this game in 2004. An Ls mate managed to link me a driver install for PS3 controllers to PC, Everything installed smoothly yet I am unable to input any binds to the analog sticks, Kazamaki managed to narrow his down pretty well, with the exception of having to stop or Auto-run to target/tab around. If anyone has any experience on making a PS3 controller work properly, please notify, I lose patience quick with trivial technical difficulties. I have a ton of new music lately,  Aki Kuroda released a compilation of FFXIII tracks in piano medleys, one of them being a previously unreleased, They sound fantastic, And after finding a specific track for Carinde I felt a little accomplished. I actually had to load up FFXIII and run all the way to the Sulyya Springs terrace to listen to this particular MP3:

It reminded me just how much of a good time I had in Final Fantasy XIII, so It might be something I'll replay once more for the hell of it. On other notes, She has been my lurid addiction into BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. A fantastic agile fighter, with a story to back it all up. I enjoyed playing the series again, If any readers/friends Are interested, I currently own both the PS3 and 360 versions of BlazBlue~ Challenges are welcome(For the love of god preferably on PS3):

That about covers everything I wanted to let out, This post was meant to release 4 days ago, but it's been delayed horribly, so apologies for those who kept asking me about it and I delayed you even further~ The blog is still being modified, And don't get used to my formal paragraph writing, I'll probably mix it up in due time.
